BECAUSE HE WAS 63.
And the women rejecting him? WOMEN HIS OWN AGE.

We LOVE calling out men who refuse to date women their own age but apparently some of y’all have the exact same problem.
“I prefer younger men.”
“Women age better than men.”
“I don’t want to be a nurse or a purse.”
MA’AM. YOU’RE 66. HE’S 63. 😂
Some of you act like every man over 60 is sitting in a recliner watching Wheel of Fortune, waiting for someone to bring him his Metamucil.
Meanwhile, there are 70-year-old men hiking mountains, traveling the world, running businesses, and living their absolute best lives and there are 35-year-olds who need a recovery day after going to Costco.
AGE IS NOT AN ACTIVITY LEVEL.

I’ve met 80-year-olds with the energy of 25-year-olds and 25-year-olds who act like they’re waiting for the nursing home library shuttle.
Stop rejecting perfectly wonderful men over a number while complaining that there aren’t any good men left.
You don’t have to date older but you might want to stop assuming older means OLD.

I would be OK with a 63-year-old man. The problem is that too many 63-year-old men want women in their 30s who want children. Yes, men in their 60s claim they want children or don't want to be with a menopausal woman.

If someone being 50 something and dying and people saying that’s “too young” and yet hearing people say he’s “too old” when he’s 63 and alive and kicking… I’d say is hypocrisy. Like you said, age is just a number. I’m 43 years old and people still tell me I look like I’m in my 20’s. At times I physically feel my age but more or less I don’t. 😂

Men have been putting us down for years. It’s our turn and yes we are way hotter, own houses and have good bank accounts. Also men STILL want younger women half their age….so it’s more an issue for them. I’d date older than me if he was a good person and fit I’m 57

Presumably this could be due to men aging in dog years after they hit 50 or so. Or maybe it's the retirement. But so many are boring, sedentary, and unhealthy. Maybe some like to hike, run 5ks, canoe, tent camp etc but many don't past a certain age. I know more older women doing all that. Maybe they are trying to match energy instead of age. Just a theory.
