If you want marriage you have to date like you’re actually trying to get there.

After watching 1,600+ couples find love, I’ve learned this: Your standards aren’t what’s keeping you single. Your exceptions are. The “maybe he’ll change, I’ll give it a little more time, the chemistry is so good, I don’t want to scare him off.”

Nah girl.

Stop handing out husband privileges to men who haven’t even decided they want to be your boyfriend. You have e to stop confusing potential with reality.

It’s time to date with clarity. That way you can walk away faster and stop apologizing for wanting a healthy, mature and marriage minded man.

If you want to date with a matchmaker mindset join me for the last Modern Dating Sucks Book Club of the summer.

Five weeks of live coaching with me.

A completely different way of looking at dating. Women and men from previous book clubs are already getting into relationships because they stopped dating emotionally and started dating wisely.

It starts THIS SUNDAY.

Comment BOOK and I’ll send you the details. 🔥 by @jackiedormanofficial

Some of you do not need another sign to stay.
You need permission to leave.🚶🏻‍♀️

If you are in a relationship where you constantly feel unseen, unwanted, emotionally unsafe, compared to other women, or like you have to compete for his attention, that is not the relationship God intended for you. 👀

And no, I’m not saying your man should think you are “perfect.”

I’m not perfect.

But I’ve been married almost 20 years and my husband still acts like I’m the only woman in the room. Still hypes me up. Still thinks I’m amazing. Still pursues me. Still thinks I’m the best thing that ever happened to him.

That is not fantasy.
That is not “movie love.”
That is not unrealistic.

That is what happens when a man is truly wildly in love with a woman.

A healthy relationship is not built on a woman begging for crumbs while a man scans the room for someone “better.”
A healthy masculine man makes his woman feel chosen every day.

And when a woman feels deeply loved, protected, pursued, desired, and emotionally safe?

It unlocks something powerful in her for him.

Respect deepens.
Devotion deepens.
Affection deepens.
Love multiplies.

This is why my grandma used to say, “A man should love you more than you love him.” And honestly? The older I get, the more I understand exactly what she meant.

Too many women are calling emotional neglect “normal.”
Too many women are staying in relationships where the man acts lukewarm while she loves him hard.

No ma’am.

The man in your life should be absolutely crazy about you.
Not because you’re flawless.
But because to HIM, you are the prize.

Stop settling for men who make you feel tolerated instead of treasured.

MOVE ON! you’re somebody’s DREAM girl.

Attention Gen X Men… Can we have a long overdue conversation? 👀

As a matchmaker, I can’t tell you how many men in their 50s and 60s ask me to introduce them to women in their 20s & 30s.

Not because they’re multi millionaires that are looking for a clearly transactional relationship. 🙄

Nope. These guys genuinely believe they’re entitled to a woman young enough to be their daughter simply because they’ve never gotten married and they want one.

Meanwhile…

The women their own age are left wondering where all the marriage-minded men went and then everyone acts shocked when older women start to date men 5–10 years younger.

Honestly, can you blame them?

Women in their 40s and 50s are often active, attractive, emotionally mature, and know exactly what they want and will make incredible partners.

So Here’s my hot take:

If you’re expecting a woman who’s 25+ years younger to choose you despite the age gap, you should ask yourself what she’s getting out of the deal.

Because when someone is willing to overlook a gap that large, there is usually a reason and VERY RARELY it’s genuine compatibility. Often it’s just financial security, lifestyle, or other superficial benefits. Either way, don’t fool yourself into thinking they like you for your personality.

And ladies, don’t overlook the moderately younger guy who’s actually in the same season of life as you.

If you want to learn how to identify a masculine, mature, marriage-minded partner based on character, not fantasy, DM me COACH and join my Last Year Single Program.

Let’s make this your last year single. ❤️ by @jackiedormanofficial

LADIES, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE AGE DISCRIMINATION COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE. 😂

I couldn’t find a match for my 63-year-old client. Not because he wasn’t a catch and not because he wasn’t marriage-minded…

BECAUSE HE WAS 63.

And the women rejecting him? WOMEN HIS OWN AGE.

Oh, this is ironic. 😭

We LOVE calling out men who refuse to date women their own age but apparently some of y’all have the exact same problem.

“I prefer younger men.”

“Women age better than men.”

“I don’t want to be a nurse or a purse.”

MA’AM. YOU’RE 66. HE’S 63. 😂

Some of you act like every man over 60 is sitting in a recliner watching Wheel of Fortune, waiting for someone to bring him his Metamucil.

Meanwhile, there are 70-year-old men hiking mountains, traveling the world, running businesses, and living their absolute best lives and there are 35-year-olds who need a recovery day after going to Costco.

AGE IS NOT AN ACTIVITY LEVEL.

When I match people, I’m looking at LIFE STAGE, ENERGY, VALUES, LIFESTYLE, and COMPATIBILITY.

Not just the year somebody came sliding out of their mama.🤰

I’ve met 80-year-olds with the energy of 25-year-olds and 25-year-olds who act like they’re waiting for the nursing home library shuttle.

Stop rejecting perfectly wonderful men over a number while complaining that there aren’t any good men left.

You don’t have to date older but you might want to stop assuming older means OLD.

If you’re ready start dating like a MATCHMAKER, comment READY.

I’ll show you how we actually identify a great match inside Last Year Single®.

And spoiler alert: It has very little to do with his birth certificate. 💍 by @jackiedormanofficial

GIRL. SOMEBODY KNOWS SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS YOUR PERSON. 💍😂

And you’re out here keeping your desire to get married classified like it’s a matter of national security.

LISTEN TO ME.

Your future husband might be your coworker’s brother. Your hairstylist’s neighbor. Your married girlfriend’s husband’s best friend or the son of the sweet lady sitting next to you at the nail salon. 💅🏻

But nobody knows you’re looking because you’ve convinced yourself that telling people you want to get married makes you look desperate.

MA’AM. IT MAKES YOU LOOK SINGLE AND INTERESTED IN GETTING MARRIED. WHICH YOU ARE. 😂

I want you to start thinking like a MATCHMAKER.

Not just for yourself, but for EVERYBODY.

Become the woman who makes introductions. The woman who knows people. The woman who actually TALKS to strangers instead of staring at her phone everywhere she goes.

And for the love of all things holy, LET PEOPLE KNOW YOU’RE OPEN TO BEING INTRODUCED!

You do not need to chase a man. You need to stop making it so difficult for people to connect you with one.

Your network might be more valuable than your dating app.

And if you’re READY to stop waiting around and start being intentional about finding your person, I want to help you.

💍 Comment READY and I’ll show you how we can get you positioned for love inside Last Year Single®.

Because somebody knows somebody who knows your spiritmate.

And it’s high time for you to meet him. ❤️ by @jackiedormanofficial

🚨 DO NOT let this break your heart because it isn’t true.

Some of y’all just watched that video and immediately started wondering...

“Wait... am I the love of his life or am I just the sequel?” 😭

Absolutely not. Why would we plant a lie that leaves an entire generation of single women wondering if they’re just the consolation prize because someone’s “real love” got away?

And honestly, this isn’t a lesson about men.

It’s a really low opinion of men. What are they, emotional goldfish? 🐠

“Sorry, Susan. I already used my one love. My heart is now out of service forever.”

Please…Infatuation can end in a moment but deep love is built through maturity, trust, sacrifice, and choosing someone over and over again.

Healthy men don’t lose their ability to love. They grow in their ability to love.

The biggest thing keeping people single isn’t a lack of good men or good women, it’s taking terrible dating advice from the internet.

If you’re ready to unlearn the lies about dating, relationships, men, women, and love, comment “READY.” 📚

I’ll send you the details for my VIP coaching program. by @jackiedormanofficial

Congratulations Sandi and Chuck on your engagement and upcoming wedding in the new year! This precious couple has a super sweet story, and I love nothing more than having a front row seat to basically my own Hallmark channel. Life is good!! Many Blessings to them! ❤️💍 by @jackiedormanofficial

I’ve been a dating coach and matchmaker long enough to tell you that NOTHING in a haunted house could scare me more than the modern dating pool. 💀

I’ve seen women praying for men instead of dating men…

Men looking for Proverbs 31 with an OnlyFans aesthetic…

People publicly begging God for a spouse and privately turning down every introduction…

Women who would rather spend eternity alone than date a man under 6 foot…

And grown adults with a list of requirements longer than the Cheesecake Factory menu who bring approximately three things to the table.

BABY. THE GHOSTS ARE THE LEAST OF OUR PROBLEMS. 👻

At this point, I’m not afraid of haunted houses. I’m afraid of opening my DMs.

Happy Halloween from your favorite matchmaker. 🎃

Which slide personally attacked you? Because I already know somebody’s about to be offended but in a good way! 😂

Seven years. A baby. No ring. And you’re wondering if you should give him an ultimatum?! 👀

Ladies, at what point did we collectively decide that men are the ONLY people who get to make decisions about whether a relationship moves forward?!

Some of you are running businesses, raising children, paying mortgages, and making executive decisions all day long… then coming home and acting like you need a permission slip from a man to decide YOUR OWN FUTURE. 😭

MA’AM. YOU ARE NOT A HOSTAGE. YOU ARE A VOLUNTEER.

And before somebody gets mad, I’m not saying you should walk out on your family tomorrow. I’m saying you need to recognize that you have CHOICES.

You can love a man and still recognize that he doesn’t want the same future you do.

You can have a child with someone and still decide that being his forever girlfriend isn’t your calling.

And you can stop waiting for a proposal without issuing a single ultimatum.

Here’s the hot take: You don’t need him to reject you before you’re allowed to choose something different.

You don’t need to be cheated on, mistreated, or abandoned to decide a relationship isn’t right for you.

And if you know you’re a wife, why are you spending your best years trying to convince a man who doesn’t want to be a husband?

There are men who WANT marriage. Who WANT commitment. Who aren’t going to need seven years, a baby, and a ultimatum to figure it out.

At Last Year Single®, we help women stop waiting for marriage and start intentionally dating men who actually want it.

💍 Comment READY if you’re done waiting to be chosen and ready to start choosing YOUR future.

WHAT IN THE HOLY SISTER WIVES IS HAPPENING IN OHIO?! 😭⛪️

Apparently, we’ve reached the part of the church service where adultery gets a rebrand, somebody calls it a revelation, and the wife gets promoted to Director of Harem Communications. 💀

Sir. SIRRRR.

Not every desire you have is a divine download. Sometimes it’s just your flesh with a microphone and a ministry title.

And ladies, PLEASE HEAR ME. 📢

There is NO MAN SHORTAGE so severe that we need to start accepting timeshare arrangements on somebody’s husband.

You do NOT have to abandon your standards to accommodate somebody else’s audacity.

Marriage is a covenant, not a GROUP PROJECT.

And if a man ever tells you God instructed him to bring another woman into your marriage, you tell him God instructed YOU to bring an attorney into the conversation. ✌️

STOP LETTING PEOPLE USE GOD’S NAME TO JUSTIFY THEIR OWN DESIRES.

Ladies, we are not that desperate. We will NEVER be that desperate.

And to my home state of Ohio… I’m gonna need y’all to get it together. 😭

👇 I NEED TO KNOW: What would YOU say if your husband came home with this kind of “revelation”?

#ChristianDating #ChristianMarriage #DatingAdviceForWomen #MarriageAdvice by @jackiedormanofficial

Three months is a LONG time in dating.

You could meet someone next weekend and be completely in love by Christmas. But not if you spend the next few months dating exactly like you spent the last eight months.

If I wanted to fall in love before the end of 2026, here’s exactly what I’d do:

1. I’d date like a matchmaker. Stop looking for instant fireworks and start looking for character, compatibility and relationship readiness.

2. I’d become a “YES until it’s a NO” dater. If there’s no actual dealbreaker, go on the next date. Stop rejecting potentially great people because you didn’t hear wedding bells over appetizers. I have a three rule date. If they do not violate one of your non-negotiables you’re going on at least three dates with them.

3. I’d stop wasting relationship energy on non-relationships. Situationships, exes, unavailable people, endless texting, crushes who aren’t pursuing you it’s time to CLEAR THE DECK. You’re never going to attract something new when you’re holding onto something old, even if you’re only holding onto it in your daydreams.

4. I’d make meeting people my job. that includes everything the dating apps, singles events, the blind dates nothing is beneath you. Tell your non toxic friends you’re looking. Love can’t find you if you’ve checked out.

5. I’d stop letting preferences masquerade as standards. Your person may not arrive in the height, packaging, profession or “type” you ordered and that’s okay. GET OVER IT!

6. I’d do the Heart Work. Because sometimes modern dating sucks and sometimes we are unknowingly helping it suck. 😬 it’s time to heal the part of you that keeps choosing, chasing or tolerating the wrong people or excuses. .

7. I’d hire a coach. Because if I’d been trying to figure this out on my own for years, I’d stop assuming another four months of my own advice was going to magically change everything. I’d get someone in my corner who could see what I can’t see, call out my blind spots and help me meet a different type of person.

Someone is going to fall in love before December 31.
Why not you? 😘

If want me in your corner helping you do this, comment COACH if you’re ready to make the rest of 2026 count. 🔥 by @jackiedormanofficial

🚨 STOP TEACHING MEN HOW TO DATE YOU.

Because there’s a HUGE difference between a man learning you and you teaching a man how to perform well enough to fool you.

Early dating is not the time to hand somebody a detailed instruction manual for how to win your heart.

It’s the time to WATCH. 👀

What does he do without prompting?
Does he pursue?
Does he plan?
Does he follow through?
Does he respect boundaries?
Does his effort stay consistent once he gets comfortable?
What happens when he doesn’t get exactly what he wants?

Because if you have to constantly remind a grown man how to treat you, you’re no longer dating him. You’re coaching him. 😢

And babe, that’s MY job. 😂

Your job is to collect the data and decide whether what he’s naturally offering is something you actually want.

Stop trying to turn the wrong man into the right man.

Do you have a question for “Ask Jackie” DM me or drop it in the comments.

If you’re ready to stop wasting months or YEARS on relationships you have to drag toward commitment, DM me “COACH.”

I’ll show you how to date differently, choose differently, and make this your LAST YEAR SINGLE. 💍 by @jackiedormanofficial
