Lil Peep would have turned 30 today 🕊️❤️

Happy heavenly birthday to an artist whose music still means so much to the people who found comfort in it.

From “Star Shopping” and “The Way I See Things” to “Save That Shit” and “Awful Things,” Peep had a way of putting difficult feelings into songs that made listeners feel understood. For many fans, those records are tied to late nights, friendships and chapters of their lives they’ll never forget.

Today is a chance to celebrate the music, revisit a favorite song and remember the person behind it.

Rest in peace, Gustav. Happy 30th birthday 🤍

What’s one Lil Peep song you’ll always come back to? 👇

Let’s talk BLOATING (and before we do, if you want the full video where I chat this too, just COMMENT SHA and I’ll DM the link — otherwise keep reading x).

Some bloating is absolutely normal (especially around periods and hormones!). And there’s nothing shameful about our bodies, at any stage, at any time.

But. Buuuut.

Lately my tummy has been SO SORE.
And swollen.
And sour.

For the most part, I just accepted it. I’ve always struggled with bloating. Maybe it’s just, I thought, part of me? Not to mention the insane amount of info, and pseudoscience, and noise. It all felt… overwhelming.

Then I went to @shawellness_spain (hence the whole ‘comment SHA’ thing - again you can watch the longer video there), where I massively adjusted HOW I eat, from stress to the foods involved, and…

My tummy felt amazing.
Inside. INSIDE it felt amazing.
Outside, the bloating disappeared.
Even in the evenings, after a day of solid eating, it wasn’t SWOLLEN.

I genuinely was surprised. I still am, honestly.

But. I’m back to ‘real life’ now.

And my bloating is back too.
Alongside the sometimes sour tummy.

Only now I’m wondering if maybe things could be different.
I’m ready to embark on a journey to figure this out.

And maybe, if you feel like it, you will join me too. So that we heal our guts (and cut through the pseudoscience noise), one lil question at a time.

x

Kabuli Pulao - My Special Recipe

Ingredients:
• Secret Ingredient: Soya Sauce - 1/2 Cup
• Onions - 4 (for golden brown)
• Ginger Garlic (G.G) Paste - 2 tbsp
• Chicken - 1 kg
• Rice - 1 kg (soaked)
• Special Masala - as used in video
• Water - for yakhni / stock

For Garnish:
• Carrots - julienne cut
• Raisins (Kishmish)
• Almonds (Badam)
• Sugar - 1 tbsp
• Oil - for frying garnish

Method:

1. First, fry 4 onions until golden brown and take them out.
2. In the same oil, add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
3. Add chicken and fry it well.
4. Now add the special masala which I used in the video and fry again.
5. Add water to prepare the yakhni (stock). Let it cook for almost 40 minutes until the yakhni is ready and the chicken is almost tender.
6. When yakhni is ready, add 1/2 cup Soya Sauce (the secret ingredient).
7. Add the soaked rice to the yakhni and cook the pulao until rice is done.
8. For Garnish: In a separate pan, add some oil, add 1 tbsp sugar and fry the carrots, raisins and almonds in it until light golden.
9. Garnish the pulao with the fried carrots, raisins and almonds and serve hot.
