Standing here in Pahalgam, in front of the memorial of the innocent lives lost in the horrific Baisaran terror attack of 22 April 2025, my heart feels heavy.
Some wounds cannot be expressed in words, and some pain can never be forgotten. Looking at the names of those who never returned to their families brought tears and a deep sense of helplessness.
But today, seeing this memorial built in their honour gives me some comfort. At least their sacrifices, their identities and their memories will never be forgotten.
Operation Sindoor was India’s response to terrorism, and this memorial will forever remind us of the innocent lives that were taken.
My humble Shraddhanjali to every innocent soul we lost. You are not forgotten. Your memories will live forever in the heart of this nation.
Baisaran will remember. India will never forget.🇮🇳💔🙏
