We're excited to announce the release of “Central Hotel,” a short story collection by our founder, Victor Ehikhamenor (@victorsozaboy), published by Masobe Books (@masobebooksng).

Fourteen years after “Excuse Me!,” his last published title, he returns to literature with stories about faith, migration, ambition and the lives we leave behind.

“Central Hotel” is in bookstores now!

The celebration continues tomorrow, October 31st, 2026 with a reading and author conversation at the J. Randle Centre, hosted by acclaimed poet and writer Wana Udobang (@mswanawana).

We can’t wait to welcome you. Until then, happy Central Hotel day 🥳

Before I close this birthday chapter, thank you for all the love, wishes and blessings. 🥹🤍 I’ve spent the last few days celebrating another year of life, but somewhere between all the celebrations, I realised something. We spend so much of our lives wanting to be loved, understood, chosen and celebrated by others that sometimes we forget the one person who’s been with us through absolutely everything. Ourselves. I’ve been so many versions of me. Some I loved, some I struggled to understand, some I’m still learning to forgive. But every single one of them brought me here. Somewhere between wanting to be independent and never wanting to leave my people behind, between making mistakes and making memories, between building a life and learning to live it… I became someone my younger self would be proud of. And if there’s one thing I want to tell you, it’s this: No matter who stays, who leaves, what works out or what doesn’t, please don’t ever leave your own side. Be the person you can come home to. Celebrate your little wins. Forgive yourself for your mistakes. Make yourself happy, even on the days when nobody else knows how to. Love people with your whole heart, but save some of that love for yourself too. I’m still building, still dreaming, still figuring things out. And for once, I’m not in a hurry to become someone else. Thank you for being a part of my journey and for making this birthday so special. Here’s to growing older without leaving the little us behind. 🤍 . Ps. i will post the vlog super soon on my youtube ♥️trust me you will love every bit of it !! #TheNewEra #sameekshatakke #birthdayweek #november

Self-described “border security Democrat” James Talarico is ready to cross the aisle and work directly with Donald Trump to fix the border. Speaking with Erin Burnett, the newly elected Texas Senator emphasized that community protection beats partisan gridlock: “I think there’s an opportunity here to finally pass comprehensive immigration reform to secure our border... I will work with anyone to get it done.”
