For years, we listened to the slogan “Free Palestine,” while beneath the surface, an extremist ideology continued to spread, seeking to push aside every faith, culture, and identity that does not conform to it. Essentially, this is the erasure of the identity and rights of other religions besides Islam — cancer. And today, we see it touching us as well — our Christian heritage, Yeshua, the cross, and our right to exist and express our faith freely. How sad. The penny has finally dropped. The Jewish people understood this danger before we did and tried to confront and eliminate this phenomenon, fighting with their blood and without external support. We woke up late, but better late than never. Now there is no room for confusion: Christians, Jews, and every person who believes in freedom of religion must stand together against extremism, violence, terrorism, and above all — the ongoing desire to erase the other, to erase us. Not hatred. Not extermination. Unity, faith, heritage, and freedom — and a firm stand against extremism.
