Thanks for sharing, I get upset when we get ex servicemen claim we should only have one flag because that’s ‘the one they fought for’, but ignore all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who fought for Australia.

@niroc_tools there is plenty of direct quotes saying that white Australia is exactly what they were fighting for. They certainly weren’t fighting for a multi cultural Australia that’s for sure and it’s safe to say that people like my great grandfather who were fighting for king and country would’ve naturally been fighting for a white Australia

Thanks for speaking out so eloquently about this issue @niroc_tools incredibly important at this point in time. We are the only commonwealth country without a formal treaty with its First Nations people everyone else here is an immigrant from somewhere and when we appreciate that diversity and the strength it brings to us collectively we are better off. Also completely agree with the listen more that you speak points. People need to understand all sides of an argument and ensure that they have accurate and robust information sources before they go running their mouths. Well informed and unbiased public debate is a dying art-form unfortunately.
