In a year with a LOT of firsts for me, here’s a pretty cool announcement. I’m proud to share about my collaboration with the team that worked on the translation of Until the Blood Spatters by @josefgalarzafloresautor . It’s been quite the experience and one that is rewarding on a personal and professional level. In a year where I’ve worked several translations and freelance gigs, to be able to work on a novel of depth, darkness, and substance is truly rewarding, because apart from the gig, it’s a compelling piece of work. Being able to use my experience to edit the English translation and help elevate Galarza’s voice has been awesome and I hope anyone who picks up a copy sees the dedication from the author and the team that collaborated for this English version. I will be writing more about my experience, why I chose to be credited under my full name, and will also talk a bit about this in an upcoming seminar for @authortubewritingcon .
