Do you ever miss old versions of yourself?

I miss how easily I could get lost in a song. That flow state where you stop overthinking and just feel. Somewhere along the way, years of criticism and getting silenced made me quieter, even with myself.

I’m making room for her again. More singing. More songwriting. More things I love without needing any of it to become something or prove anything.

Maybe there’s a part of you that you’ve been missing too.
