13 years ago, I married my best friend. From the first time I laid eyes on him, I knew he was the man I wanted to marry. I just couldn’t have known then how much sweeter it would be to actually be his wife.😘

I’ve never known a kinder, gentler, more thoughtful man. Chad notices the little things. He checks on me throughout the day, sends me texts, and is always looking for a way to make me smile or make my day a little easier. There is so much that goes into raising a big family, and he carries it right alongside me. Nothing is too hard or too small for him to do and I’ve never heard him complain. 🥹

He works harder than anyone I know, yet he still makes time to hold me close and give our children his attention every day. I hope they grow up understanding what a gift it is to have a daddy like him.❤️

And behind so many things I’ve dreamed of doing, there he is. Listening to another idea, encouraging me to try, helping me figure it out. Being loved by someone who believes in you like that gives you courage.☺️

I tease him that we’re slowly turning into the same person. Our likes, our dreams, the things that make us happiest… a simple life, barefoot children running around, animals, a garden, home-cooked meals. More time outside and less time on our phones. Watching the sunrise or staying out for one more minute of a sunset. Time in God’s Word together. Holding hands. Lots of hugs.🌱🐄🪏☀️

I never could have pictured all of this 13 years ago. But I believe more than ever that God knew exactly who I needed when He gave me Chad. This life with him is more than I knew to ask for.

Chad, these have been the best 13 years of my life. I love being your wife, raising our children with you, and building a life with Jesus at the center. Even with a house full of people, you still make me feel like your favorite. 🤍

Every great thing humans have ever built started with someone too curious to leave things alone. 🚀🧠

We started with sticks, stones and fire. No instructions, no blueprints, no one to teach us. Just curiosity and the refusal to accept that things had to stay the way they were.

That curiosity turned a spark into electricity. A wheel into cars, trains and jets. In less than 70 years, humans went from the first powered flight lasting 12 seconds to walking on the moon.

Today, the phone in your pocket is more powerful than the computers that sent astronauts into space. And we’re already building rockets that land themselves and AI that can write, design and think alongside us.

None of it came from people who were satisfied. It came from people who kept asking why, kept taking things apart and kept wondering what else was possible.

That same curiosity lives in you. The people who keep learning, questioning and exploring are the ones who end up shaping what comes next.

Stay curious. The future belongs to the people who never stop asking questions.
