#Storytime | YOU DON’T NEED ONE MORE SIGN… COME HOME. 💔 An Imaginary Voice By KiKi
KeDarius “KD” Deion Jackson was 28 years old and, according to his family, had finally been trying to turn his life around.
He had been home for two years, had a job, bought his first car, and had a son who needed his daddy.
Then KD went to Dallas to see people his family says he had known since childhood.
He never made it back home.
On October 27, 2024, two people were shot in an apartment-complex parking lot. One survived.
KD didn’t.
His grandma’s message to another young Black man is simple:
Everybody you call your homie ain’t your friend.
If God gives you another chance, TAKE IT.
Change your circle if you have to.
You don’t need one more sign.
COME HOME.
