Nobody really tells you that menopause can make you renegotiate your relationship with yourself.

You might suddenly have less tolerance for things you’ve put up with for years. You might want more time alone. You might stop feeling the need to be agreeable, available, or everything to everyone.

Your confidence can shift, too. Maybe you start speaking up more, setting boundaries faster, and caring a little less about what everyone else thinks.
Even your definition of feeling good can change.

Maybe it’s no longer about doing more or keeping up. Maybe it’s sleeping well, feeling comfortable in your body, having energy for the people you love, and saying no without guilt.

We talk a lot about what menopause can change physically. We don’t talk enough about what this chapter can clarify: what matters, what doesn’t, what you’re willing to tolerate, and what you want more of.

Maybe you’re not trying to get back to the woman you were before.
Maybe you’re getting to know the woman you are now. 💛
