The Giants could pivot off of Jonathan Taylor and pursue a trade for Ravens star RB Derrick Henry with Baltimore potentially becoming sellers before the trade deadline, per Mike Florio. "Derrick Henry, now 32, is far closer to the end of his career than the beginning. His contract pays out $12 million in 2027, with none of it guaranteed. Now could be the time for the Ravens to turn the remainder of his contract into a draft pick or two," Florio said. "And the Giants would make plenty of sense. Beyond the fact that the Giants view Taylor as on the second tier of current NFL tailbacks with Henry, Giants coach John Harbaugh has experience with Henry." (via Pro Football Talk)
He chose me. I don’t really know how to make this post, but here we are since so many people are asking me. My poor Barry had disseminated Valley Fever. Valley fever normally involves a fever and cough, which he never had. He just had two lumps under his skin. It’s a very rare and actually very serious version of the disease. We had treatment going for about a month and he went for a recheck of his liver just last week. The medicine is very hard on the stomach and liver. The tests said he was ok to proceed. A few days later he had reflux and trouble eating. They had me add an acid reducer. I spent several days at the emergency vet trying to help but his body was shutting down and he was in liver failure due to the medication. I lost my poor, sweet, goofy, smart and perfect boy. There is such a hole in my life right now. If there is such thing as a soul dog, it was him. I expected a good 5-8 more years with him and not a sudden end. I’m crushed. My best buddy. My little shadow. I’m still looking for him and checking on him all day. 💔 I love my Barry. #standardbarry #thebestboy

Sen. Darline Graham suffered a stunning loss Tuesday in a race that President Trump pushed her to run, conceding to Democratic challenger Annie Andrews in a typically deep red state. With 89% of the vote counted, Andrews, a pediatrician and gun-safety advocate, had 50.8% of the vote, to 47% for Graham. South Carolina hadn’t elected a Democratic senator since 1998, and Trump won the state by 18 points in 2024. At Trump’s direction, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Graham in July to the seat of her brother, the late-Sen. Lindsey Graham, for a term that expires in January. The president and his aligned super PAC MAGA Inc. backed her in the primary to counter criticism that she was unprepared for the job or insufficiently conservative. Republican groups supported Graham with tens of millions of dollars in ad spending for the general election, outpacing Andrews, who largely relied on her own fundraising. Follow along for full live coverage.
