We’re not sure how two years have passed since we had to say goodbye to you, but somehow it still feels like yesterday.

Our heats still ache that you’re not here with us now and we miss you so much, but we carry with us all the love, happiness and beautiful memories you brought into our lives. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about you and that beautiful smile.

We have a little tag for you, alongside your best friend Bubba, at one of the special places we explored together. We always take a moment to sit with you there, and Bubba knows it as Monty’s bench. He still barks for a treat every time we get there. You’re right beside our first Boxer, Butch, who made us fall in love with the breed in the first place.

We’re so lucky that you were ours, and we were yours.
