When in Lugano, do as the tourists do… find the sign and strike a pose! 😎🇨🇭

But the adventure doesn’t stop here… 👀 I hear the motorhome is hitting the road again. Could another country be calling? 🌍🚐🗺️

A Boxer with a European bucket list 🌍🗺️
Another day, another country… well, almost!

Currently in beautiful Morcote, looking across the lake at Italy and wondering where my humans are taking me next on our European adventure! 👀🇮🇹

Our beautiful Monty 🪽🤍

We’re not sure how two years have passed since we had to say goodbye to you, but somehow it still feels like yesterday.

Our heats still ache that you’re not here with us now and we miss you so much, but we carry with us all the love, happiness and beautiful memories you brought into our lives. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about you and that beautiful smile.

We have a little tag for you, alongside your best friend Bubba, at one of the special places we explored together. We always take a moment to sit with you there, and Bubba knows it as Monty’s bench. He still barks for a treat every time we get there. You’re right beside our first Boxer, Butch, who made us fall in love with the breed in the first place.

We’re so lucky that you were ours, and we were yours.

A lifetime of loving you, Monty. Forever our boy 🤍 by @montyandbubba

A handsome face hiding a very confused brain!

Here I was, posing for some photos by Lake Lucerne, living my best European road trip life… 🇨🇭🏔️🍂

And then I met the locals… 🐈

Except they don’t run away, they don’t move, and they’re literally made of STONE! Doing me a confuse 😵‍💫

Somewhere in Switzerland, living a fairytale 🍁🪨

Exploring a magical land of misty mountains, emerald-green waters of the Verzasca River and the beautiful Ponte dei Salti 🇨🇭

I even found myself a souvenir, which I proudly carried all the way over the bridge!

Just a Boxer, exploring the Swiss Alps and making some very curious new friends 🐄🏔️🇨🇭

The cows were SO curious to say hello! I think they wanted to know where this little Boxer has travelled from 🌍🐾

Just a Boxer travelling Europe, living his best Alpine life 🏔️🗺️🚐

📍 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗱 🇨🇭

We caught the train from Lauterbrunnen to Grindelwald for the day 🚞 We bought a single dog ticket for CHF 4.70, but the kind train man let us know that dogs travel free on their trains!

We found a lovely walk with incredible views, and this golf-loving Boxer even managed to find a golf course! ⛳️

We found a bratwurst which I needed after all this exploring! 🌭

POV: You’re a Boxer dog on a road trip through Europe and you’ve just completed the most epic walk 🇨🇭🗺️🐾

📍Mürren ➡️ Gimmelwald

Another day exploring Switzerland with my humans! This was leg two of our hike, continuing from Mürren down to Gimmelwald after hiking from Grütschalp 🏔️

Turns out this European road trip is pretty pawsome. Although I still think the humans should reward their brave boy with a sausage at every summit!

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽: 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 🇨🇭🏔️🌲

Grütschalp ➡️ Winteregg ➡️ Mürren

We caught the cable car up from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp 🚠 (another new experience for me) then hiked the beautiful mountain trail 🥾🐾

Snow-capped peaks, fresh mountain air and incredible views of the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau 🏔️

My face watching anybody eat ice cream or hot dogs… do a gib? 🤤

This week on our big European road trip, we took the train from Lauterbrunnen to Grindelwald for the day! There are lots of new experiences for me on this trip 🚞
I admired Mount Eiger, watched the paragliders soar over the mountains, went on a hike, and sniffed out a bratwurst! 🌭

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴 🇨🇭🏔️

Apparently, my humans came here last year and spent the whole time saying, “Imagine bringing Bubba here one day!”. This year, we’re here together!

We’ve made Lauterbrunnen our base for the week, with incredible Mountain views, waterfalls, alpine trails… and I’ve already sniffed out a local bratwurst stand! 🌭

Stay tuned… I’ve got a whole new chapter of Swiss adventures to sniff out! 🗺️

POV: Your humans take you on a European road trip and Switzerland looks like THIS! 🇨🇭🏔️

📍Thun
I’ve been exploring the prettiest little streets, watching fish in the crystal-clear river and even stumbled across a castle! 🏰

Where should this adventuring Boxer explore next? 🌍🗺️
