Dunamis Builds Pedestrian Bridge on Abuja Airport Road, Wike Announces 50% Cost Reimbursement

Dunamis International Gospel Centre, led by Senior Pastors Dr Paul Enenche and Dr Becky Enenche, has commissioned and dedicated a pedestrian bridge constructed along the busy Airport Road in Abuja, close to the church’s headquarters, the Glory Dome.

The project was undertaken by the church to improve pedestrian safety and address concerns over frequent fatal accidents along the road corridor. During Friday’s commissioning, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike commended the church for investing in infrastructure that benefits the wider community.

Wike disclosed that the FCT Administration would reimburse the church 50 per cent of the total construction cost. He explained that although Dunamis applied for approval in 2018, the application was brought to his attention in February 2026, and approval was granted within a month.

Pastor Paul Enenche said the church’s intervention reflects its commitment to expressing Christian love through practical service and improving lives beyond the pulpit. The church also plans to add protective coverings, security lighting and transparent side panels to the bridge.
