NO PRESSURE! If it’s been awhile since you picked up your instrument of choice (pencils and brushes and dance shoes count), or you feel like you’ve lost a bit of the spark that you used to catch when you played, cut yourself some slack I’m certainly not the first person to articulate a version of this mindset, but I’m grateful that I’ve been able to explore it this week. I’m having funnnn dude I hope this gives you a lil’ nudge to spend a little less time on here and a little more time doing something you love purely for the fun of it And guitar players! hit me with your favorite riff to play!

Money doesn’t change people. It exposes them. 💰🪞 ⠀ Give a generous person more money and they’ll find more ways to give. Give a careless person more money and they’ll find faster ways to lose it. The money was never the difference. It just gave who they already were a bigger stage. ⠀ The same thing happens to the people around you. When life starts going well, some will celebrate you like it’s their own win. Others will suddenly need favors, start keeping score or quietly pull away. They didn’t change overnight. Your success just showed you who they were all along. ⠀ That’s why character matters long before the money shows up. Build the habits, the values and the discipline now, while it’s quiet. Whoever you are on a small paycheck is who you’ll be on a big one, only louder. ⠀ Money only reveals what was already there. Make sure what it finds is worth seeing. ⠀ Follow @Wealth to learn about money every time you open Instagram. ⭐ ⠀ #Wealth #Money #Character #Mindset #LifeLessons
Me quedé sin palabras. The NYC Marathon was once an inconceivable dream of mine. I cheered on marathoners for years never thinking that could or would be me. How lucky am I to have been so wrong ❤️ My first marathon, and the first in my family. This race was for them, in honor of their story of migration to the best city in the world. They touched down in Queens, got married in Brooklyn, my mom worked in the Bronx, and I’ve planted roots in Harlem. I took a run not only through NYC but through my family’s journey here. Their grit has always reassured me that soy capaz de lo que sea, even when at times, I don’t believe it myself. What an honor it was to raise money for @nylagnews. Now more than ever, legal aid is so needed, especially for our immigrant New Yorkers I’m so thankful for all the love and support. Ayer, ustedes y esta ciudad me dieron un abrazote que jamás olvidaré First in my bloodline to say I’m a MF MARATHONER!!!!! Qué locura! 🗽🪽 Special agradecimiento to my running family @pasorunclub @svintsrunclub @palmasny. You’ve turned miles into moments I could never forget @jorge.photog behind the lens of course 🫶🏽
