🎪🖤 HOLLOW WRATH BY JODIE KING 🖤🎪

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. This went even darker and more depraved than the first book, and my god, what a WILD RIDE!

After nearly two years locked away in a cage, our FMC is thrown into the twisted world of Oddity Carnival & Cirque, where madness reigns and the line between reality and nightmare barely exists. Enter Hollow Wrath, one of The Hollows, a deranged, terrifying man whose fixation on her quickly becomes something far more sinister. But she has her own demons to chase, and she’s not about to become just another victim.

The atmosphere? Unhinged. The character dynamics? So good. And the spice? BRUTAL. This book really pushes the boundaries, and I was absolutely along for the ride!

I will admit, though, that parts felt a little similar to the first book, almost like the same formula in a different colour 😅 And there was a moment towards the end (slight spoiler!) that was hot as hell to read, BUT I wasn’t expecting a sharing moment involving our main characters, and it did put me off a little 🫣

Despite that, I still had a bloody good time with this one! It’s dark, depraved, chaotic, and definitely not for the faint-hearted.

🖤Pitch-black romance
🖤Carnival/circus setting
🖤Obsession and fixation
🖤Morally black MMC
🖤Twisted character dynamics
🖤Extreme spice 🌶️
🖤Dark and depraved themes
🖤Unhinged atmosphere

Overall, an absolutely wild read, even if a couple of things weren’t entirely my cup of tea!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING! There are A LOT of them, and shit gets seriously depraved in this book. This is a pitch-black romance, so please don’t go into it expecting a typical dark romance! 🖤

Have you read Hollow Wrath yet? And how dark do you like your romances? 👀📚
