Thank you @pagingdrfran for speaking up on this. I fear there are still too many of my colleagues who would not treat a women during pregnancy.

Not only pregnant women, people who in the past took premed get sent away because the providers lack of knowledge on premed protocol. People with unusual pre-existing conditions, get sent away all the time. And let’s not mention people who were recommended SRP and the provider refuses to do a cleaning because?!?! Cheers!

I just rolled out my newest course and it’s a pregnancy deck. I polled the audience and asked how often pregnant women are denied dental treatment- the responses were quite concerning.
