Some of the best moments on our mats happen when a six-year-old and a forty-year-old are both working through the same fundamental position, each at their own level, each getting better.

That's a regular part of life at Lineage BJJ in California, Maryland. Our kids martial arts programs and adult martial arts classes run side by side, built on the same Gracie Jiu-Jitsu foundation. Younger students develop coordination, listening skills, discipline, and confidence, while teens and adults work through technical grappling, escapes, positional control, and practical self defense. Different ages, same high standard of coaching and respect on the mat.
