Martell has underlining insecurities hidden under an outward mask. He is still in love with Melody while trying to pretend he is not and has moved on. But if this was the case he would have never file a court action against her. Hurt people, hurt people. I believe that the side chick convince him to do it. She is bad news and will go after every and anyone to keep Martell. She believes she won.
