From watching my dad run the streets of New York as a little girl to preparing to run 26.2 miles through them myself🤍

I picked up my marathon bib and got to share that moment with the person who unknowingly planted the seed for this journey!

My dad was an incredible runner in his day and although he’s since retired, I’ll always admire the miles he put in. It’s surreal to think that I’ll be running my first marathon and first World Major in my hometown with him waiting for me along the course 🥹

This Sunday, the roles are reversed … Full circle and I’m so fucking ready! NYON🗽 @nycmarathon
