Billy Kidd won the USA’s first Men’s Alpine Olympic medal in
1964. He was known for skiing in a cowboy hat and he helped establish the famous Cowboy Downhill in 1974, bringing professional rodeo cowboys onto the ski slopes. @stetsonusa made him a pro model hat! Shout out to Billy - he is 83 and I’ve heard still going strong and skiing around
