If grief had a theme tune, I have a suspicion it may sound something like this. Thank you to everyone who is listening to ‘Swim’ and feeling something. Losing someone to Alzheimer’s is what we refer to as ‘the long goodbye’ and losing mum was a very hard few years- a rollercoaster really. I’m trying not to fixate on grief with my content on here because you know, it’s soooo not my aesthetic, but I’m in it and I’m not sure how i will get through it, if at all. I do wanna stay positive though so I would like to signpost @thegoodgrieftrust and @alzheimerssoc - also please follow @richard.e.grant for his undeniable candour and @gregwiseofficial who has written a book on grief. Also my sister @care.to.remember is doing some awesome stuff in the Alzheimer’s memory book space.
