WHAT IF ADAM AND EVE HAD JUST ASKED ABBA FIRST? 🍎😂

Seriously, husbands and wives, think about that for a minute!

The serpent planted doubt.

A decision was made.

And the consequences reached far beyond the Garden of Eden.

Now, I can’t tell you what would have happened if Adam and Eve had stopped and gone to Abba.

But I CAN tell you what 41 years of marriage have taught me.

When we leave Abba out of our decisions, we can create problems we never needed to have.

And here’s something else.

Our children are watching.

They’re learning how husbands and wives communicate.

How we handle disagreements.

How we make decisions.

How we treat each other when life gets difficult.

Dads, your daughters are watching how you love and respect their mother.

Moms, your children are learning from you too.

Genesis 2:24 tells us husband and wife become one flesh.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us that a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

And 1 Corinthians 7:14 speaks about the sanctifying influence within a believing household.

So here’s my proposal.

🤝 THINK together.

🤝 PLAN together.

🤝 ACT together.

And NEVER leave Abba out of the conversation.

Because our decisions don’t just affect our marriages.

They help shape what our children believe relationships should look like.

What if the greatest marriage lesson from Eden isn’t just about what Adam and Eve did wrong, but about WHO they should have consulted before acting?
