October reading wrap-up … and go!
Started the month by finishing Jenn Plummer’s MC series. The text threads are my fave.
Got to beta for one of my faves, CL Rose. Frozen on Second is everything you could want in a low-angst, spicy, second chance holiday novella. Full review coming when it releases on the 12th.
Face Off With Fate was added to my Hoopla. Solid second book in the series.
Worked with Jordana Blake on C/L edits for Freezing. This one doesn’t come out until February, but it’s super cute and I can’t wait to reveal more soon.
Did an audio reread of Badly Behaved. I will stand on the fact this is MB’s most underrated book and more people should read it.
Completed the proof for The Holiday Trawl, out this week. I’ll be posting a full review but you already know I loved these two.
Completed the proof for Entirely Us. Absolutely adore Maya and Oliver, the whole friend/family group, and the spice is spicing. Full review when it releases on the 13th.
Give Me Tonight was an ALC. Great end to the series (full review on grid).
Worked with Mya More on C/L edits and proofing her next why choose, snowed in, age gap, best friend’s brother, second chance novella. This one is so fun and I’ll post when it releases on the 19th.
Listened to Kate Stewart’s holiday books on Hoopla and LOVED them. Plight was unexpectedly emotional. And Sleight was incredibly relatable as a parent. Definitely recommend both.
Got the ALC for Giving In by Lola King, who is one of my most read authors this year. It ended on a cliffy so I’m anxiously waiting for the next audio to release in January.
Did the first two books in The Obsessed Players Club on Hoopla. I enjoyed the second more than the first, and I’ll probably finish the last two when I have time.
Ended the month with OKAC. Been waiting for Anna’s story since Strong and Wild, and loved Casper’s unhinged self. Great audio performances.
