Mahalo @hiffhawaii for this beautiful honour. I totally did not feel deserving of this award, but to receive it in a place that had been so welcoming to me and my career over the years was so special. I genuinely love what I do and the people I get to meet along the way, so being celebrated for the journey so far is really sweet. This work can be such an isolating experience, but I didn’t get here on my own, so thank you to my circle for always cheering me on, even when times get tough on the road. I’ll always continue to push for our visibility on screens and champion my Pasifka peers who share the same dreams.
