My social battery might currently be on one bar, but that doesn’t mean I was going to miss out on the Major Arcana launch!

The venue in Obz (not to be confused with Obz book store 👀) had the perfect amount of character and quirk for a Halloween-themed book launch. Extra points for the venue hire fees supporting the nonprofit organisation @fash_rev_southafrica 😍. Well done @page_turners.za 🥰

The panel was a slay – as is usually the case with @miraripress launches. Intelligent. Insightful. Entertaining. The authors @sitara.png @rhettsinnema @andrea_leriche knocked it out of the park. And @garyhartleysa had me racing home to read his story after he teased us with his reading 😍. Now I’m almost done reading all eight stories and I have no idea what to do with myself once I finish.

It was lovely bumping into all the familiar faces. One thing about Mirari Press is that it’s starting to feel like family ♥️. Congratulations once again to all the authors @nerinedorman @saltwaterpoolboy @brettrexb 🎉
