#chalodilli :Very few people remember now what it was like to watch @rahulgandhi walk day after day with thousands milling around him..across the length and breadth of India at a time of utter hopelessness and unmitigated darkness. #bharatjodoyatra was an assertion of defiant hope. Of the fact that India had more love running in its veins than hate. That it wanted to heal. To walk together. To take on divisive forces not with ugly aggression but a united, syncretic energy. I remember watching the yatra every single day..and feeling something I had not felt in years. Joy. I wanted to hug this India. And keep it safe. These visuals coming from Delhi feel equally joyous. To all those who walked then and are gathering today....thank you. Thank you and please stay safe because the battle for India's soul is far from over.
