Maybe we should stop chasing the lifestyle and values constantly sold to us by the modern world and learn a little from these children. ❤️

It's amazing how children who have so little can smile so much. ❤️ Meanwhile, so many people surrounded by comfort, money and luxury are never satisfied. Maybe we've got our priorities all wrong. Happiness doesn't come from expensive things or from blindly following what the modern world tells us to value. These little ones remind us that sometimes, less really is more. ❤️

I wait for you in the silence of the aftermath of the doorbell, I still listen for the click of your claws during your restless roaming at midnight. I walk to the mailbox and I will forever be Orpheus turning to look for you every single day. The grief is like the memory of fireflies on summer nights mocking me in the bleak midwinter where everything is barren and only shadows twist on the walls. We had a beautiful life together. You gave me 13 years of utter joy. I miss you every moment of the day and I love you forever.
