🙏🌺 Sri Vigneshwara Swamy Thunai 🌺🙏 Sri Vigneshwara Swamy Temple, Miryalaguda, Telangana Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha, Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva Karyeshu Sarvada. 🙏 A humble artistic offering to Sri Vigneshwara Swamy, the beloved Lord Ganesha, remover of obstacles and bestower of wisdom and auspicious beginnings. 🌺 A Painting, A Prayer & A Five-Year Wait 🌺 A couple of months ago, I received a heartfelt request from the temple’s Archaka Swami @daamuluri to illustrate their beloved Sri Vigneshwara Swamy. By Swamy’s grace, I finally had the opportunity to complete this painting. After seeing the finished artwork, Archaka Swami shared something that truly touched my heart: “Since 5 years I am waiting this Swami painting.” 🥹🙏 I never knew he had been waiting five years for Swamy’s painting. Those words made this humble attempt even more meaningful. Using the original temple idol as my reference, I tried to recreate Swamy’s beautiful silver appearance, sacred markings and traditional alankaram. I feel blessed to offer this artwork to the temple, seeking nothing but Swamy’s anugraham. ❤️ 🙏 My heartfelt gratitude to Archaka Swami for trusting me, sharing the references and blessing my family. It brings me immense happiness knowing that this artwork may be used for the temple’s calendars, brochures and special occasions. May Sri Vigneshwara Swamy bless everyone with happiness, good health and prosperity.
