🙏 A CALL TO PRAYER - PUT WISDOM INTO ACTION 🙏
Yesterday, we prayed for the wisdom to recognize the lessons life has taught us. Today, we pray for the courage to put those lessons into action.
Life has a way of teaching us things we never expected to learn. Some lessons come through joyful experiences, while others arrive through mistakes, disappointments, and difficult seasons.
But wisdom isn't simply knowing what we should do differently. It's making the conscious decision to actually do it.
It's choosing patience where we once reacted with frustration. Offering understanding where we might have judged. Or using our experiences to help someone avoid a struggle we've already faced.
Our troops, veterans, military families, and first responders understand the importance of applying what experience has taught them. Their dedication reminds us that knowledge becomes most valuable when it's used to make a positive difference.
The greatest lessons in life aren't measured by what we've learned, but by how those lessons change the way we live and treat others.
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” - James 1:22
Heavenly Father, protect our troops, strengthen their families, guide our veterans, and watch over our first responders. Thank You for the lessons that have helped shape our lives. Give us the wisdom to recognize what You've taught us and the courage to put that understanding into action. Help us make better choices, extend greater compassion, and use our experiences to encourage those around us. As we begin this new month, guide our steps toward becoming better examples of Your love. Amen. 🙏
