8 hours agoYes, PCOS, male factor, and all tests have been “normal” for the past 4 years. We’ve had 8 rounds of IUI and 1 round of ICSI. We had 6 embryos, but unfortunately, none of them implanted.😢 Now we have to wait before starting another round of ICSI. The doctor says it’s all just “bad luck,” but I find that hard to believe.
4 days agoUnexplained secondary infertility! Tried for 2 years before doing IVF. 26 weeks pregnant now.
4 days agoWe are in the RPL category. Done ALL the test and were diagnosed as unexplained. Started with IVF clinic for genetic testing reasons and recently got diagnosed with endometriosis and husband has 32% sperm dna fragmentation. Hoping that maybe doing genetics and taking care of the endo will do it for us and there’s no other hidden causes 🤞
4 days agoUnexplained but need an extreme amount of progesterone per ERA. Was repeated. Got pregnant twice after short courses of birth control to resolve a cyst (1 chemical, 1 ectopic). There is something wrong with lining but no one can find anything. Tiny bit of focal adeno, Lupron didn’t help. Two failed transfers. Resolved endometritis ages ago and retested to confirm.
4 days agoWere you told you have "unexplained infertility" and that "all of your tests are normal"? This comes up in my live "Ask me anythings" all the time and is one of the top questions. Past misdiagnosis in both of these cases. One of them meets the textbook criteria for PCOS/PMOS but her doctor misunderstood how the diagnosis is made and told her it's normal. The next woman was told everything's normal but she has PMOS/PCOS and male factor. That's not unexplained! That's two specific diagnoses that should tailor therapy. Let me know in the comments if you were told everything is normal. Follow me if you want more information on how to overcome infertility from a double board-certified specialist for free.
