Iris got to finish her life the way every good dog deserves: with a steak dinner and a lot of love 🐾❤️
Hunter Metzger of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, learned his Great Dane had an untreatable growth in her nose, and he made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. Before her final appointment, he wanted to give her something special, so he ordered a steak dinner from Texas Roadhouse and noted that it would be her last meal.
Employee Kate Weston saw the note and poured her heart into the order, preparing it with extra care and adding sweet messages and decorations. When Hunter came to pick it up, the staff greeted him warmly and covered the bill.
