As someone in PVD can confirm that finding per friendly is near impossible - especially if you want a nice apartment

This list is like new builds vs. old housing stock. It’s easier for landlords to replace new flooring options and new builds can be built around the need for pets

My two giants rabbits and I “crashed” a Halloween dog costume parade in Hartford. They seemed to welcome them.

We demand justice... Release the files from the Epstein sex scandal case... Perhaps by doing so, you will bring some comfort to the innocent victims.

I own a dog walking business in NYC and in Charlotte and it’s not that difficult to find a pet friendly rental in NYC… what amazes me is how many fees are now associated with a pet including pet rent which includes cats… 😻

In California you basically cannot deny a pet as a landlord. Which is fine with me, as a landlord, unless it is a dangerous breed.

In Boston we had a dog over 25lbs and two small children. Because of the lead law, it was almost impossible to find an apartment that was not $2000+ in contrast to comparable units. We could find dog friendly or lead free, but not both.

Charlotte may look pet friendly on paper, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Pet rent, nonrefundable pet fees and deposits, and breed and weight restrictions can make finding affordable housing with a pet incredibly difficult. At a time when shelters are overflowing and families are struggling to keep the pets they love, housing barriers have to be part of the conversation about what makes a city truly “pet friendly.”
