“This type of free speech is not allowed on this board.” That’s what a @sjdeltacollege officer told a student while threatening to detain her for posting anti-police flyers. But criticizing police is protected political speech under the First Amendment, especially at a public college. SJDC says its officers have since received additional First Amendment training, and that's a start. But the college should also confirm the student faces no discipline, clarify its posting rules, and make clear that flyers on campus bulletin boards don't require prior approval. #freespeech #firstamendment #california #police #foundfootage #student #college
Consciousness should be defined by its most characteristic feature: continuity. I’m so thrilled to share my first of a series of interviews with @closertotruth , now live on YouTube. I’ve watched Closer to Truth for over a decade and was so honoured to have this conversation with Robert. I’ve always been greatly inspired by his curiosity, openness, and his rigorous commitment to the pursuit of wisdom. It was truly such a pleasure to share this conversation. Thank you very much to Robert and the CTT team! The first episode is out now - Link in bio! X

Things are ramping up in the world and it’s getting a bit hairy with the world political climate
