MGI has not granted any valid sub-license for the organisation of this pageant. Any related activities conducted without MGI’s official authorisation are not recognised by the company.

People do not understand that the activities that the international organization of Miss Universe is doing are illegal since MGI has the franchise by contract and legally, so that a Miss Universe Laos pageant is held without authorization can put at risk the integrity, security and prestige of both the pageant and the candidates

I thik there is one way for Laos to get around this. Organise a pageant named " MIss Community of Laos " and send the winner to Miss Universe wearing the same sash.
