St Andrew’s College | USYD

Last month, St Andrew’s students and alumni represented @sydney_uni in both the Men’s and Women’s Eights, in the @australian_boatrace, competing against the @unimelb in this celebrated university rowing rivalry.

The residential college races also saw our St Andrew’s Women’s Eight take on @trinityunimelb, while Trinity competed against St John’s College in the Men’s Eight.

Representing St Andrew’s, our Women’s Eight consisted of:
🔹 Lucy Scammell (Fr 2025)
🔹 Lucy Smith (Fr 2025)
🔹 Aisha Yates (Fr 2026)
🔹 Nicole Vance (Fr 2024)
🔹 Mathilde Goddard (Fr 2026)
🔹 Annabel Shanahan (Fr 2026)
🔹 Alice Macready (Fr 2025)
🔹 Daisy Thomas (Fr 2026)
🔹 Alex Wright (Fr 2025)

Special congratulations to Nicole Vance, Alice Macready, and Tiffany Botha (Fr 2022) for competing in the USYD Boat Race Crew, alongside Sophia Tayeb (Fr 2026), who served as Coxswain for the USYD Men’s Crew.

Beyond the competition, we were delighted to welcome our friends from Trinity College to dinner at St Andrew’s. It was wonderful to see the Sydney–Melbourne collegiate rivalry put aside for an evening of friendship, camaraderie and healthy competition.

Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to Trinity for being part of such a wonderful occasion.
