Winter plans: Hallstatt ✨ Save this 👇

Pastel houses, a mirror-still lake and the Dachstein mountains behind it. Hallstatt is one of those places that looks unreal, and winter is a magical time to see it ❄️

What to do 👇
📸 The classic viewpoint over the village, with the colourful houses on the lake
🌉 The Skywalk, for a view over the lake and the mountains
⛏️ The salt mine, one of the oldest in the world
🚤 A walk along the lake, and a boat ride if the weather allows
🏔️ Krippenstein, the mountain above (more snow, and the best chance of winter views)
☕ A warm drink in the village after the day-trippers leave

Good to know 💡
* Go early in the morning or in the evening, because the village is much quieter before and after the tour buses
* Check the cable car timetables and trail conditions before you go, because winter closures are common
* Bring waterproof boots, because Hallstatt gets a lot of rain as well as snow

Send this to the person you’d want to go with 🤍

PSV will be without Sami Ouaissa for the coming months. The 22-year-old forward had recently recovered from an injury and was close to making his debut for PSV’s first team, but a new injury has put those plans on hold for the time being.

“This is simply bad luck,” says Ouaissa. “I’m incredibly disappointed. I was so close to fulfilling my big dream of making my debut for PSV’s first team. Unfortunately, I’ll have to put that moment on hold a little longer. I’ll quickly refocus and fully concentrate on my rehabilitation. My goal is to return stronger than ever early next year and still make a valuable contribution to a successful season.”

PSV wishes Sami all the best with his recovery and will provide him with the best possible support throughout his rehabilitation.
