One thing I’ve truly come to appreciate on this filmmaking journey is the power of genuine connections and word of mouth.
Social media and self-promotion will always play an important role in independent filmmaking, but witnessing the organic growth of Broken Contract has been an incredible experience.
From visiting local VA facilities and VFWs to reconnecting with former shipmates who have helped spread the film throughout military bases and organizations, the support has exceeded my expectations. Seeing a significant increase in viewership and knowing that the film is even making its way into military seminars and conversations is truly humbling.
My ultimate hope is that one day Broken Contract can become part of the conversation and resources provided to service members transitioning into civilian life.
Sometimes the impact of your work travels further than you ever imagined. I’m just grateful that this story continues to reach the people it was meant to reach.
To everyone who has watched, shared, recommended, or simply mentioned Broken Contract in a conversation, THANK YOU! The support doesn’t go unnoticed. 🙏🏾🎬🇺🇸
