For those who don’t know, I committed to doing a HYROX race with @marivh without even knowing what a HYROX was because I just say yes to everything…. after discovering what it was I linked with @steven.bogert who is an absolute animal and he’s given me the formula to help build my foundation. I linked with @ryanrubiotrains who every serious athlete should have in their corner and he’s helped me dial in my nutrition and recovery….This is the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever done and I’ve been embracing the challenge. There’s times that I’ve absolutely wanted to breakdown in tears, not from the pain, but from the thought of actually accomplishing something that I would’ve thought to be impossible… through throughout this, I’m learning … I’m listening to my body more than ever ..There’s days that I’ve overtrained and its set me back a week, Wednesday there’s days where I make absolute progress, motivate me to come back the next day and the next and the next. It’s gotten to the point that I dream about running miles….. then wake up and actually go do it. I’ve cut 10 pounds… looking to cut around 10 more. I’m not quite sure how ready I’ll be in 35 days. But one thing I do know is that I’m a competitor and when I put my mind to a goal, it’s almost impossible to stop me….
