Downingtown Area SD

This November, join us in celebrating Indian Heritage Month and Native American Heritage Month. Students, staff, families, and community members have organized a variety of educational activities that honor the unique experiences of both communities.

Pictured here are students from Brandywine Wallace Elementary with author and storyteller Robin Moore after building a 16-foot tipi. 🏕️ This hands-on experience connected classroom lessons with real-world practices, giving students a deeper understanding of Native American cultures.
