✨ No registration required for Dec 2 or 6. First come, first served.
🎟️ Registration is required for Dec 3, 4, 5. Tickets are FREE but they sell out FAST. Find tickets by searching “Bethlehem Walk” Salem Baptist Church on Facebook
🪁 You’ll take about an hour walk through a reenactment of the town of Bethlehem and hear the Christmas story along the way. There’s live animals, singing, story tellers and more!
🪁There was so much to look at that even my little kids were entertained the whole time. There were hay bales to sit on at the later “stops” and so much to look at!
🚌 Before starting the event, you’ll park and scan your ticket at the parking attendant. A school bus will take you to the event after you park unless you need special accommodations or have kids under 4.
⛺️ Once you’re at Salem
Baptist Church, you get a census ticket and wait to be called in a tent. This will be your most difficult part with little kids. We waited for about 30mins to be able to start the walk and it is very crowded. This is a great time for snacks.
☕️ You’ll get hot chocolate and a cookie in the tent at the very end
❗️Just a warning for little ones: the Roman soldiers are very in character and realistic, and my kids had some moments of being scared
🚻 Porta-potties only before the holding tent. No potties once you start the walk

That hour-long walk through Bethlehem with live animals and singing sounds so special — helpful to know about the wait in the tent and the hot chocolate and cookie at the end!

We’ve been the last two years! It’s fabulous! Make sure you wear shoes/boots that are warm and okay to get muddy. My daughter’s white furry boots not best choice last year ha!
