As I was walking by the shore today, surrounded by the spectacular beauty of this island and serenaded only by the symphony of waves gently caressing the sand, I started to reflect on the meaning of all soul’s day and said a quiet prayer for many of our friends who we deeply and sorely miss.

Yesterday our new family driver who had been with us just for two months, suddenly passed away in the icu after being sick for a few weeks. We didn’t know him for that long but napamahal na din siya ng mga anak ko and even our helpers at home. He was a good man and I have no doubt in my mind that he is in heaven right now.

These things truly remind you that life is so fleeting, and every moment you have on this earth is just so precious. So live every day with passion and joy. Never take anything for granted. Tell your loved ones how much you love them, hug your kids, call your mom, enjoy sunsets, savor every bite of your meals, smile at people you come across, and always always be kind. ❤️
