As I was walking by the shore today, surrounded by the spectacular beauty of this island and serenaded only by the symphony of waves gently caressing the sand, I started to reflect on the meaning of all soul’s day and said a quiet prayer for many of our friends who we deeply and sorely miss. Yesterday our new family driver who had been with us just for two months, suddenly passed away in the icu after being sick for a few weeks. We didn’t know him for that long but napamahal na din siya ng mga anak ko and even our helpers at home. He was a good man and I have no doubt in my mind that he is in heaven right now. These things truly remind you that life is so fleeting, and every moment you have on this earth is just so precious. So live every day with passion and joy. Never take anything for granted. Tell your loved ones how much you love them, hug your kids, call your mom, enjoy sunsets, savor every bite of your meals, smile at people you come across, and always always be kind. ❤️ Sending you Big Love from the Reyeses. And letting you all know that we appreciate you. ❤️ God bless you all. 🙏🏻 #manzanoreyesfam #thereyeses #gpreyessays by @gp_reyes
Trust me. It’s Paradise. Starting November right at @sunlight_islandresort 😍 #oliviaameliaandluciagotosunlightisland #thereyeses #manzanoreyesfam #tReyesMarias #sunlightislandresortpalawan by @gp_reyes
Off to one of the most beautiful Islands in the world for our family. This little piece of paradise in Culion is truly one of my favorite places on earth and the perfect place to spend the long Hallow’s Eve/all souls break! @sunlight_islandresort is really a gem. And we are so happy to be back here for the next few days. ❤️😍🏝️ #oliviaameliaandluciagotosunlightisland #manzanoreyesfam #thereyeses #gpreyestravels by @gp_reyes
My world would be totally different if I had three sons. But God made sure it would be the opposite, and I am all the better for it. I love that the world has changed. But I also think there are some things worth keeping the same. Open the door for her. Go meet her parents. Write her a poem. Buy her flowers. Hold her hand. And I realize that before my girls learn what to expect from anyone else, they’ll be watching how I treat their mother. Remember that you’re setting the benchmark for how your kids will define what love is in the future. I have been blessed with the most amazing wife and life partner and my three girls make sure that I am reminded of just how Andi has made me a better man. ❤️ So here’s a question specifically for the ladies. What’s the sweetest, funniest, or most unforgettable thing someone ever did when courting you? (Is courting still a thing?) And what’s one old-school romantic gesture you wish people still did today? I’ve got three daughters. I’m taking notes. ❤️ #manzanoreyesfam #gpandiestab2011 #gpreyessays #thereyeses #tReyesMarias by @gp_reyes
Everybody wants to rule the world. But nobody gets to rule golf. I had a nice little string of good rounds this past month and then today the wheels just fell off 🤣. For those of us who have fallen hopelessly in love with this game, you know exactly how that feels like. Golf always finds a way to humble you. But I’m learning that sometimes the best part of a round isn’t what you put down on the scorecard. It’s the company, the laughs and stories shared, the lucky bounces, that terrible topped 7 iron that somehow rolled onto the green, the beers and business opportunies that opened up at the turn, the 40 foot put that had no right to find the bottom of the cup….It’s walking off the last green with a new friend who was a complete stranger just 18 holes ago. Golf isn’t always about scorecards, sometimes it’s about all the beautiful places the game can take you. ❤️🏌️‍♂️ #gpreyesgolfs #golfsicko #golfdaddyph #thereyeses @vineyardgolfclub.ph is an 18 hole par 3 course in Tanauan, Batangas overlooking the iconic Taal lake and an active volcano, adjacent to a spectacular theme park @jcastles_ so the kids can have their fun too! and yes. It has night golf! 😍 by @gp_reyes
I’ve always been a car guy. Although admittedly my first Porsche wasn’t a the most powerful of machines. 🤣 I worked my butt off and as the years passed I was fortunate enough to be able to drive a few slightly faster ones. And for as long as I can remember, I looked up to these automotive works of art. I worshipped the precision of German engineering, dreamt of sensual Italian exotics and fawned over the luxury of British and European provenance. 😍 To me the badge on the hood meant everything. And only a select few of those venerated emblems were deserving of admiration. But take a look at Manila’s roads today and you immediately see just how much the world has changed. The Chinese invasion is not taking place as some shoal in the middle of the sea. It’s already here. And then three years ago, our family bought a fully electric SUV from China. The Hongqi E-HS9 wasn’t exactly the most obvious choice for us. But it has turned out to be one of the best cars we’ve ever owned and for me quite possibly one of the most beautiful automobiles on the road today 😍 And this past year been astonished by some really gorgeous new cars out there, some with names I don’t even know how to pronounce! Their horsepower figures are just insane with features that most certainly came from reverse engineered alien technology. DENZA is one of the brands that caught my eye. This is BYD’s luxury brand. Kinda like what Lexus is to Toyota. (fun fact: Denza began as a 50/50 joint venture between BYD and the Mercedes-Benz Group… so…Benza? Hehehe) Recently @denzaphalabang was kind enough to lend me two of their flagship SUVs.🔥 The Denza B8 is their flagship model and it’s squarely aimed at the venerable Toyota LC300. But with a hybrid engine that puts 600 horses under your right foot! (remember when we thought the Civic SIR was fast in the 90s?) It also has plush leather captain’s chairs, a Range Roveresque hydraulic suspension, TVs in the rear and even a friggin refrigerator! The B8 is massive, luxurious, and beautifully appointed. The three hitchhikers I picked up the other day certainly seemed to approve.😜 The DENZA B5 is basically slotted against the ne by @gp_reyes
Olivia couldn’t pronounce the letter “R” til she was 6. Amelia until last year believed you change the TV channel with the “Kumote Control.” When Lucia starts saying “Purple” properly I think I’m going to cry. These moments go by mercilessly quick, so cherish each and every second. The past couple years have taught me to really slow down and be intentional about this. In my professional life and career, I’ve put on quite a number of hats across many stages, but I have come to realize that the best job of all is being a Father. I love being a girldad. And being part of how my kids find their footing in the world is one of the greatest honors you can be given in this life. And along the way you’ll get bonus clips like these that are just so absolutely friggin adorable. 😍 It’s Fwiday tomowow! Happy weekend all. ❤️ #esmeraldalucia #thereyeses #manzanoreyesfam #gPeepol #littlegpandi3 by @gp_reyes
Kids, I’m going to tell you an incredible story. The story of how I met your mother. 😂 That story from my last post really resonated with so many people. ❤️ And I realize there are plenty more stories to tell. Which one should be next? The septic tank that exploded in the car park when I took Andi home that very first night after Opus? The story of the 383 long stemmed roses on Valentines day? Our first trip together? The flash mob proposal at Naia 3? Or the story of how I met HER mother? Anything you wanna ask about the first season of the GP+Andi? Ask away in the comments. The best questions might just be in the next episode! 😉❤️ #thereyeses #manzanoreyesfam #gpandi #himymanzano #icouldvemetyouinasandboxIcouldvepassedyouonasidewalk by @gp_reyes
This is the very first photo Andi and I ever took together some 15 years ago. With a little bit of Luck, Mark Zuckerberg, and pakapalan nalang ng mukha, here we are.❤️ It’s been quite a journey, with so many little stories along the way that I plan to share with you all soon enough.😍 But for now, as I reminisce late into this Saturday night, I wanna hear your stories. How did you meet your special someone? Do you still have the very first photo you took with your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner? If you can, do attach it in the comments. would love to see it. Or tell us how you first met. I want to hear the funny ones. The awkward ones. The completely unexpected ones. Let’s fill the algorithm with some happy memories, shall we? YOUR TURN. ❤️ Ready? Goooo! #gpandi11213 #gpandiestab2011 #thereyeses #gpreyessays #lovestory by @gp_reyes
Quick Yakiniku stop before watching @brentmanila’s staging of Matilda! Bravo to the whole production! And bravo to my firstborn who was part of her first play as a middle schooler! Earlier in the morning Amelia also rocked it at her chapel performance! Lucia naman had two cups of rice with her yakiniku. 🤣 So proud of my girls! And I really am treasuring every single moment with them at this age! 😍 Wishing you all a happy weekend! ❤️ #thereyeses #izonreyesfam #tReyesMarias #sistows by @gp_reyes
Golf’s best kept secret. A breathtaking par 3 course with the majestic Taal Volcano as your backdrop and a spectacular theme park right next door. This place is special. @vineyardgolfclub.ph #gpgolf #gpandigolf #golfaddictph #golfpare #golfpinoy by @gp_reyes
WE HAD THE BEST TIME!!! Who would have ever thought that less than an hour from Makati (straight down Slex, and star tollway, exit Tanauan and a short drive later, against the backdrop of the majestic taal lake and the volcano on the horizon is this towering blue castle that looks straight out of a fairytale! Yes, in Batangas you will find @jcastles_. A spectacular legit theme park right on the waters of the lake. And it is every child’s paradise! We visited with our kids in feb and we were simply blown away! This weekend we decided to invite some friends and even they were rendered speechless by the scale and vision of this place. Truly a fantastical concept dreamt up by James Ang and his family. The attractions are currently for younger children but next month the new section opens to the public with thrill rides for the adults including an intense multi looping coaster! My photos simply do not to it justice! You NEED to come and visit! Let’s just say our kids never wanna leave! Lol. And down the road is @vineyardgolfclub.ph which is possibly the most beautiful 18 hole par 3 course I’ve ever played. So everybody happy! (Will post photos from our game tomorrow) For now we are still on a Jcastles high and we can’t wait to return when the new area opens! Thanks again the @klintonang, his dad James, GM Christian, Aia, poch, Bong and the whole team at @jcastles_ @vineyardgolfclub.ph and @thevineyardattanauan for really taking care of us!! ❤️❤️❤️ (Btw….no ashfall no volcano crap…the air here is cleaner than alabang. we checked!!) #oliviaameliaandluciagotojcastles #reyesXlagdameoXpittXchua #vineyardtanauan by @gp_reyes
