13 hours agoWhen he was trying to get my attention, he didn’t give me flowers like most people would. Instead, one day, I was surprised to find a small fishbowl with a little fish swimming in it on my office desk. I was so happy and excited, but at the same time, I was confused. I had no idea who it was from until I saw his handwritten note that said, “Feed only once” with a smiley face. 😂 Later, he told me he gave me the fish so he would have a reason to talk to me and ask how the fish was doing. Such a simple, funny, and unexpected way to get my attention! Looking back, it was actually pretty sweet. ❤
17 hours agoDear Sir @gp_reyes would you ever consider writing, as maybe a hobby & posting somewhere we can access? Or just more on here, on IG. This is the 2nd post that has gotten me riveted, all attention. Because the calm narrative of life's realities hits home on a level that warms the heart & opens the mind. Middle aged as i am, I do think that the general audience deserves to read stuff like this. I am your follower because years back I fell in love with posts of your daughter, Olivia. Now as your posts occasionally stumble through my feed I find myself getting a boost of joy reading them. The one about your courtship history was a very pleasant read indeed. Maraming salamat po. More please 🔥

a day agoAs a mom of four girls, one of the things I always tell my two older girls, especially now that my eldest is turning 18, is to never lose the beautiful values of a "Dalagang Pilipina". ❤️ I've always told them how special it is to be courted. There's something beautiful about someone making an effort to get to know you, showing genuine interest, and taking the time to win your heart. It's a lovely feeling to be pursued, appreciated, and made to feel special. Of course, times have changed, and relationships look different nowadays. Some girls are comfortable making the first move, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's simply a matter of personal preference. But as a mother, I'd love for my girls to experience the beauty of being courted and to appreciate the effort that comes with it. I want them to grow up knowing their worth, never feeling pressured to rush into relationships or do things just because they're what everyone else is doing. I want them to know that they can be modern, independent women while still embracing the grace, dignity, and values that have been passed down to us. Being a "Dalagang flipina" doesn't mean being old-fashioned. It's about carrying yourself with confidence, knowing your worth, having standards, and never compromising your values. Times may have changed, but that doesn't mean we have to let go of the beautiful things worth keeping. ❤️
a day agoWe were in a 7 years of long distance relationship of my then-BF-now-husband (1 year of it was married already) but throughout those years, I never felt that we're apart. He always make sure he's present in every milestone and even in hard times of my life. He's not that well-off but even when we're apart, he would make random surprises, organised gifts for me thru my friends here, send me hand made letters and scrapbooks, talk and listen to me attentively. Now that we're together, I feel like a living Disney Princess with how he treats me. He spoils me with so much love and respect. Sabi nya nung nag propose sya "liligawan pa rin kita lagi kahit mag-asawa na tayo" and know what, he still does. That's why I'm praying that God will bless us with a child/children so that they may experience how caring and loving he is. 🤗
2 days agoMy husband and I were introduced by our Dean back in college. But my husband sent me a text message first (we survived with unli text message promos) and the rest continued in messenger. 15 yrs together, 7 yrs as a married couple with a daughter. Man, that daughter we deeply love. Lord please protect her from those Boys, you know what I mean.
