It was a pleasure to welcome Emer Higgins TD, Minister of State at the Department of Children, Disability and Equality, and Jerry Buttimer TD, Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, to the Crann Centre today.
It was an opportunity for Eimear Daly, Head of Services and Una Deasy, CEO, to share first-hand how our Model of Care impacts the lives of the adults, children and families living with neuro-physical disabilities, as they met our team and clients across a range of services. Jason generously shared his rehabilitation story, as he targets a return to work with the support of Maura Kelleher and Claire O'Farrell through our Independent Living programme.
The Ministers also greeted a Psychological Wellbeing group, Life After Change, led by Sean Mullen, Counsellor MIACP, and visited our Paediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic and Play Therapy Room.
