MONTHLY SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

One of our goals is to use this platform to bring our local small business community together. Each month, we’ll be highlighting another local business to help spread the word, show support, and encourage our community to shop small.
Our first spotlight is Under the Umbrella Bookstore! @undertheumbrellabookstore
Located in downtown Salt Lake City at 511 W 200 S, Under the Umbrella is more than just a bookstore. It provides an incredible, welcoming, and safe space for our local LGBTQ+ community and beyond.
Owner Kaitlyn has dedicated both their personal and professional life to creating a space that celebrates, uplifts, and supports queer individuals, authors, and businesses.
Here’s another way you can support them! Did you know you can select Under the Umbrella as your bookstore on Libro.fm when signing up for an audiobook membership? A portion of your membership helps support the bookstore directly. A great time to cancel your audible membership to support a local bookstore and keep more dollars in our community.
They also host a ton community events, bringing people together. When we choose to support one another, we help keep more resources, opportunities, and dollars right here in our local community.
What do you love and appreciate about Under the Umbrella Bookstore? Share your favorite things, experiences, or memories in the comments! And don’t forget to show them some love.
