Over time with slang goyim means “non jew” but he was right about the origin of the word. I’m Jewish and a quick google search would have solved this.

Goy just means other nation. It’s a word for outsiders. The same people who get fake upset about goyim, don’t get upset when Chinese call them Laowai, Japanese call them gaijing or Ethiopians call them Felasha. Every tribe has a word for outsiders, only goyim bothers them because they actually feel inferior to Jews. It’s 🐱 s***. Even Hashem calls us Jews goy. Get some culture up.
