#NEWS - Nathalia Gadelha, a 20-year-old rising aviator, has been identified as the co-pilot aboard a Learjet 60 that crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday.
The private jet was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it reportedly plunged at more than 20,000 feet per minute before crashing. Disturbing air traffic control audio captured a desperate plea for help in the moments leading up to the tragedy.
Gadelha, who grew up in Palm Beach County, made headlines in 2023 after earning her private pilot’s license at just 17 years old, while still in high school and before obtaining her driver’s license.
